The Boston Symphony Orchestra has just announced that Guster will be performing at Tanglewood as part of their annual event. The 2023 Popular Artist Series will feature several talented artists in their lineup, so here's your chance to watch them live!
Guster has been around since 1991 and has grown a massive and devoted following since their formation at Tufts University. With eight studio albums filled with fun pop-rock songs like "Overexcited," "Amsterdam," "Satellite," and "Do You Love Me," Guster has gained local and international success with fans all over the world.
They broke into the musical mainstream in 1999 with their third studio album, "Lost and Gone Forever," and the hit single "Fa fa." Quirky as the song title is, it garnered so many positive reviews and claimed a spot on the Adult Top 40! But it doesn't stop there because on their fourth album, two more singles grabbed their well-deserved spots on the Adult Top 40 once again. The band has grown exponentially over the past two decades, making critically acclaimed music. Their fans love them even more because of their quirkiness and great sense of humor.
Fun fact: Guster's guitarist and vocalist, Adam Gardner, founded Reverb in 2004—an organization dedicated to assisting touring artists in producing environmentally friendly sounds. They have worked alongside other amazing artists like Billie Eilish, John Mayer, and many more! They strive to raise awareness and support the environment through an interactive eco-village. What an outstanding way to make use of their platform, right?

The renowned James Taylor returns for two unforgettable nights on Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4. Thursday, August 24, features Train, along with the special guest Parmalee.
